The Shure SM7dB dynamic vocal microphone is an upgrade on its predecessor with the addition of a built-in preamp. Providing extra gain and a cardioid pick-up pattern that isolates voices from background noise, the SM7dB ensures high-quality audio wherever you record. For an element of nostalgia, this upgrade retains the famous sound signature of the original SM7B, with and without the preamp.
